The Racine Urban Garden Network is a network of community gardens across the city of Racine Wisconsin. In 2009 a group of concerned citizens in Racine began meeting with the hope to build urban community cohesion, foster multi ethnic/multigenerational interaction, and improve food security, nutrition and sustainable food resources within Racine. The Racine Urban Garden Network (RUGN) was created!

In 2010 Marquette Street Grows Garden was created. In the first year 25 people utilized community garden plots. Since then, the Marquette Street Grows Garden has grown to over 10 garden locations with 125 plots at Marquette Street alone.

At our gardens we provide access to tools, water, soil, compost, and multch to all gardeners. We also assist gardeners in learning about all aspects of gardening through garden events and one-on-one advice and assistance when needed.
