Organic beef, pork, and poultry are rapidly gaining in popularity, despite their significantly higher costs. The reasons are numerous; health issues, animal welfare, and environmental concerns top the list. Organic meat is raised without growth hormones, antibiotics, or animal byproducts in feed. Factory farms breed disease, encourage physical impairments, and generally do not place a great deal of value on animal welfare.
By contrast, smaller organic farms tend to provide better care for their animals than larger industrial operations. Animals are provided access to outdoor pens or pasture rather than confined to cramped feedlots. The resulting naturally-raised meats are often healthier; organic grass-fed beef, for example, contains higher levels of conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) and omega-3 fatty acids.

The Jennings farm, located in Medford, NJ, has been in the family for four generations and was recently preserved from development by the SADC's Farmland Preservation Program. Our fields are pesticide free. We use a rotational grazing program to sustain the pastures thus promoting ecological balance and biological diversity. The pastures, in return, give back healthy nutritious forage for our animals. Our animals live stress free lives on our 100 acre farm. Our beef is processed by Bringhurst Meats in Berlin, NJ which has been certified Animal Welfare Approved and is inspected and passed by USDA.
We are committed to giving back to the communities that helped preserve us. We feel we can do so by raising healthy, sustainable products for the neighborhoods surrounding the Farm.
