Landon Farm is a small family run farm located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We strive to provide quality free range meats, vegetables, and eggs in an environmentally sustainable, biodynamic manner. It is our goal to provide local, humanely raised, heritage products.
Our farm raises Animal Welfare Approved pigs of various breeds including pure bred Berkshire and Old Spots, free roaming pastured chicken and pastured raised free roaming veal. We practice good land management, including multi-species gracing and field rotation. These and other practices help reduce disease and stress on the animal. Healthy, happy animals produce higher quality meat.
We believe that all farms should be open to the general public and we encourage people to come see how we run our operation. We hope that you will have the opportunity to visit. Please call to schedule an appointment.

For those looking for great-tasting, healthy meat, and who care about the quality of life the animals have experienced before coming to the dinner table, Liberty Ridge Farm offers a refreshing alternative to what you can get in the grocery store.
We butcher and dress our own chickens and turkeys right here on the farm, and for our beef and pork we take our pigs and steers to one of our local meat processors.
For those interested in raising their own pig through the summer, we sometimes have feeder pigs available, which a person can buy and raise to butchering size on table scraps, extra garden produce, acorns from their yard - you get the idea.
We also offer maple syrup in a limited supply, and seasonally, certain vegetables such as garlic, tomatoes, and squash.
At times we have fresh eggs available in limited numbers.

Lowland Farm is a farm in the Hudson Valley that raises 100% grass-fed and grass-finished beef. Lowland Farm's cows spend their entire lives out of doors, grazing on open pastures in Amity, by the Black Dirt fields of Pine Island, NY. Mixed breeds, including Angus, Hereford, and Devon, they graze on grass in the summer and, in winter, eat hay harvested from the bottom lands of our farm. At Lowland Farm we aim to raise our cows responsibly, to graze our land in a sustainable fashion, and to price our grass-fed beef reasonably.
